Daily Mini Games is a site of small, free games that anyone can play, including children. We want to collect as little as possible, and this page explains, in plain words, what that is.

The short version

What we count

When someone starts or finishes a game, the game sends us a tiny anonymous note so we can see which games people enjoy. The note says only:

We do not keep these notes. Each one only adds 1 to a daily total, sorted into rough groups such as "scores from 10 to 24" or "games that lasted 30 to 59 seconds". What we store looks like "Sandwich Sway, 3 November: 120 games started". We cannot tell who played, and we cannot link two plays to the same person.

Our code does not read or save your IP address, your browser details or any other identifier. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) handles the internet traffic for the site and, like every web host, may briefly process technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks.

What stays on your device

Each game remembers your best score so it can show it next time, and the site remembers the last day you played (used for the "how long since" group above). These are kept in your browser's own storage ("local storage") on your device. They are never sent to us as they are. You can delete them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

Children

Because the games are for everyone, we built them so that no personal information is collected from anyone, of any age. If you are a parent or guardian and have a question, please contact us.

Changes

If we ever add ads or anything else that changes this page, we will update it here first and change the date at the top.
